Cupping Therapy

A great addition to any type of massage! Our therapists use a combination of gliding and stationary techniques with silicone or glass cups. Cups are most commonly placed on the back, neck and shoulders, or the site of pain. Cupping is a great technique to help bring blood flow back to the area and help release that stubborn knot. it is also known for helping break up scar tissue.

Hot Stone Therapy

Special smooth, flat lava stones are heated and placed on key points of the neck, back, abdomen and palms of the hands. The heat of the rocks allows muscles to relax, joints to loosen and circulation to improve. Promotes a deep sense of relaxation, health and well being.

Reflexology

Skillful massaging of these reflex points sends signals that balance the nervous system and release helpful chemicals like endorphins to reduce pain and stress.

Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. Our therapists have had specific training in this field and special massage body pillows are provided for maximum comfort. Women in their first trimester must get a written note of release from their midwife or obstetrician.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy is the use of the restorative properties of essential oils to promote healing and a feeling of well-being and relaxation. Adding aromatherapy enhances the beneficial effects of all our massages.
